North Branch Mutual was founded in 1887 by a group of Pioneers who saw the need to protect their buildings and other property against loss due to fire, etc., at a minimum cost to members.  North Branch Mutual writes fire and extended coverage lines and packages wind & liability coverage with North Star Mutual and Ram Mutual.

• Do not put wood burning ashes in plastic or paper containers.
• Do not leave burning candles unattended.
• Shut off water supply if you are going away for an extended period of time.
• Do not smoke in bed.
• Do not use extension cords.
• When cooking be sure to shut off burners when you leave the kitchen.
