North Branch Mutual was founded in 1887 by a group of Pioneers who saw the need to protect their buildings and other property against loss due to fire, etc., at a minimum cost to members.  North Branch Mutual writes fire and extended coverage lines and packages wind & liability coverage with North Star Mutual and Ram Mutual.

North Branch Mutual insures dwellings (homes and Farms), tenant goods (renters policies) household goods, appurtenant structures, farm buildings, farm personal property, churches, church personal property, county fair buildings, community and township meeting halls and their usual contents.

• Do not put wood burning ashes in plastic or paper containers.
• Do not leave burning candles unattended.
• Shut off water supply if you are going away for an extended period of time.
• Do not smoke in bed.
• Do not use extension cords.
• When cooking be sure to shut off burners when you leave the kitchen.
